Starting any business, be it small or large, takes a great deal of time, energy and motivation. It’s not hard to get out of shape, especially if you spend a great deal of time sitting at a desk or assisting customers with their needs. There often isn’t a lot of time to squeeze in physical exercise but it can be done.
To keep in shape throughout your business day, it is important to take time every couple of hours to get up and walk, do some jumping jacks or work on a rowing machine or other sports equipment. Even if you can only take 10 minutes every two hours, this will help to keep you in shape. In addition, many have found that it helps to go outside once or twice a day. Taking a small walk or doing some light work outside can be beneficial and helps to get rid of cobwebs in the mind. You can double this by walking to get office supplies, such as Lexmark No 17. Also, doing some inside cleaning can not only spruce up your home or apartment, but also give you some much needed physical exercise. If possible, take time away from your computer each day. Even if it’s only for a half hour or so, do it! It is most important to get away from the computer and do something totally different. Your brain and body will thank you.
Good nutrition is vital for everyone; especially for those who are starting up a new business. A bowl of soup or a sandwich high in protein can do wonders for energy and motivation. Apples, oranges, bananas are wonderful when energy is low. And, because they are full of nutrients, they give the brain a boost with their antioxidants. Berries are also wonderful and extremely healthy. Strawberries, blueberries and blackberries are also cancer fighting foods and that is what you need, especially when starting up a new business.
